As students finish up what seemed like the longest summer break ever, it’s time to start thinking about back-to-school. But with so many changes, the traditional supply list just isn’t the same.
Having the proper school supplies plays a big role in a successful educational experience. But what does that look like during a pandemic that has forced some schools to turn to remote options either full- or part-time?
Below are a few items that will ensure your students has everything that is necessary for a healthy, successful school year both in the classroom and when working remotely.
One or a combination of the following face covering options: cloth mask, gaiter or face shield.
Breakaway lanyard to keep the face covering from finding its way to high-touch surfaces, falling to the floor or ending up in the wrong hands.
Several hand sanitizers (for the backpack, lunchbox and pockets).
Disposable lunch bags.
Antibacterial wipes for desktop surfaces and shared objects, such as books and computers.
Plenty of pens, pencils and highlighters so that sharing is not necessary.
Reusable water bottle.
Laptop, desktop computer or iPad for remote work.
Reliable internet access.
Blank paper for printing documents (some students find it more difficult to read or work digitally).
A desk or private space to complete classes and school work.
An agenda or calendar to ensure being in the right place at the right time.
